The Rugby Canada Annual Awards
Rugby Canada’s Award and Recognition Program was established to recognize the efforts of individuals, clubs, teams and Provincial Unions that have made a significant impact on the sport of rugby in Canada. The program consists of an ongoing Volunteer Appreciation and Club Anniversary program, our Annual Awards, our new Hall of Fame and the Honorary Life Memberships.

Rugby Canada is pleased to announce the official nominations for our National Senior Men’s and Women’s Sevens and Fifteens Player of the Year Awards. Now that the nominations are confirmed, we need your help in determining who you think the winner of these prestigious awards should be.
2015 was an incredibly exciting year for Canadian Rugby, and our Annual Awards Celebration is designed to celebrate and honour the best of the year.

-A demonstrated history of personal development as a member of a Rugby Canada Senior National Team.

-Ambassadorial qualities that will enhance the image of Rugby Canada and the sport of rugby in this country.
2nd Honorary Life Membership Presented
Rugby Canada presented Monty Heald with the second Honorary Life Membership in front of over 18,000 people at BMO Field in Toronto prior to the Canada vs. Scotland home international on June 14th. Monty was recognized for his many years of service to Rugby Canada in many capacities, including National Team Manager, President of the Board of Directors, Chair of the Past Presidents Committee and Chair of the Hall of Fame Committee.
